Elegant cars, powerful engines and a truly unique atmosphere await you at Carlsson in Germany.
You may expect a large technological estate where Carlsson converts Mercedes Benz automobiles into stylish and high-powered vehicles, but you would be surprised: the Carlsson Autotechnik is located at Gut Wiesenhof,
a manor house near the town of Merzig.
The house and outbuildings form today a historical monument and are idyllically situated in 25 000 square metres of parkland. Gut Wiesenhof is first mentioned in the chronicles in 1835. Following the completion of his manor, the original owner, Baron Constantin von Briesen, began to breed thoroughbred horses, hence the black horse as the Carlsson logo. Today, the historical outbuildings house engine test benches, electronic laboratories and a high-tech development centre. This is where tradition meets innovation. And, perhaps, Baron von Briesen would have felt a twinge of pride if he could see what thoroughbred 'horse power' looks like in this day and age…
The company was founded 20 years ago and leads the industry in Mercedes Benz tuning. Its name honours Swedish rally driver Ingvar Carlsson who made motor-racing history in the Mercedes Rally Team.
RamSpeed Pty. Ltd. is the exclusive partner of CARLSSON for Australia and New Zealand.
