BMW 2 Series AC Schnitzer Tuning Program

With the new BMW 2 Series vehicles, AC Schnitzer have already developed a variety of tuning upgrades. The export version of the BMW 220i has engine power of 245 Hp instead of 184 Hp with no less than 5 performance upgrades for the Coupe.

AC Schnitzer’s performance upgrade for the BMW M 235i  adds 54 Hp to the standard 240 Kw / 326 Hp engine which gives it a total of 279 Kw and 380 Hp. For the M 235i they also offer a performance intercooler which provides 80% larger air contact surface and 62% more charge air volume than standard due to the size. This ensures optimum cooling and sustained power development from the engine.

AC Schnitzer have also provided performance upgrades for the diesel models such as the BMW 218d with 126 Kw and 171 Hp, BMW 220d with 160 Kw and 218 Hp and BMW 225d with 190 Kw and 258 Hp. These upgrades make the BMW stand out from the crowd and provide a significant performance increase than standard.

For more audible upgrades AC Schnitzer offer the sports rear silencer with 2 chromed Racing Evo tailpipes or the Sport tailpipes. Exhaust tailpipes are also available for purely aesthetic upgrades with a 90mm diametre.

Suspension upgrades are also offered by the BMW tuner such as the spring kits, sports suspensiuon and the racing suspension which lower the vehicle from 30 to 40mm.

Following their principle of form follows function is their aerodynamic conversion kits which include the carbon front spoiler, carbon mirror covers, carbon rear diffuser, rear roof spoiler and rear skirt film.

A wide range of wheel sets are available for the BMW 2 Series Coupe such as their Type VIII BiColour forged alloys, in black, silver or anthracite, Type IV in silver or BiColour black finishes.

8.5 x 19″ with tyres 225/35 R 19

8.5 x 18″ with tyres 225/40 R 18

8.5 x 20″ with tyres 235/30 R 20

To complete the tuning package are some interior upgrades such as the gear knob, handbrake handles, pedal sets and mats.
