AC Schnitzer ACL2 World Premiere on the Geneva Motor Show

The 570-horsepower monster from AC Schnitzer turned heads at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It is the first major international auto show of the year hosted in Europe. Geneva Motor Show brings tuning companies together to showcase their latest engineering achievements, and the AC Schnitzer ACL2 is one of them.

AC Schnitzer ACL2 is fitted with the S55 3.0-liter engine from the M3/M4 models. The power bump lets the ACL2 reach 62 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 205 miles per hour. To get the most out of the engine, AC Schnitzer includes a carbon fiber intake, which replaces most of the exhaust including the tailpipes, downpipe and catalytic converter. The Aachen-based tuner promises a power to weight ratio of 2.54 hp/kg.

ACL2 sits on specially designed Schnitzer’s forged AC1 alloys in anodized red, wearing 20in Michelin PSS tires.

Interiors have the typical AC Schnitzer badging, plus a set of new pedals, handbrake grip, sports seats, carbon fiber trim and gear knob. The steering wheel is stunning. The cabin is painted all green with green leather, carbon bucket seats with green inserts, and green stitching over black suede.
