Mini Cooper S R56 AC Schnitzer has developed a complete tuning line for the new MINI. Touring car legend Manfred Wollgarten calibrated the AC Schnitzer racing suspension on the North Loop of the infamous Nurburgring track, a performance sport exhaust changes the tone of the MINI to match its might. The aerodynamic package consists of a front add-on spoiler, rear skirt painted in a contrasting color with a diffuser. The exterior is complimented by a new double-spoke alloy wheel exclusively for MINI vehicles. The Mi2 is offered in 7.5x18" in a bi-color finish. Don't be fooled by copies; every Mi2 comes with a certificate of authenticity from AC Schnitzer. As always, attractive interior accessories such as aluminum foot pedals, e-brake and shift knob further customize the MINI proving that the best things come in small packages.
Best known for its Jaguar and Land Rover modifications, German tuner Arden has now turned its focus on another British model, the MINI Cooper, with the release of a special edition model named AM1. The Arden prepped MINI produced a limited run of only 40 units signed by Jochen Arden, featuring both mechanical and styling upgrades. Each Arden MINI is unique, each piece a collectors’ item. Carlsson took upon a challenge of sorts by taking into consideration the smart fortwo 453, 451 and 450 for luxury refinement. Known as the Carlsson smart CK10, the 2.70metres vehicle length shows a lot of promise after Carlsson’s engineers were through with it. Here’s what they did: Engine: Using the CK10 Performance kit, consisting of a special adaptation of the engine electronics incl. V-max lifting, sports air filter and Carlsson chrome lettering 65mm giving the following output: Standard: Power: 66 kW (90 hp) at 5,500 min-1 Torque: 135 Nm at 2,500 rpm V-max: 155 km / h Carlsson: Power: 85 kW (115 hp) at 5,500 min-1 Torque: 165 Nm at 2,500 rpm V-max: 170 km / h Exhaust: The exhaust for the smart fortwo 453, 451 and 450 wears a Sports rear silencer made completely of stainless steel with the end plates being chrome plated with dimensions 4x76mm with a Carlsson logo displayed on top.
