Back in 2012 when an interstate client asked us to source and inspect a local 2005 Manual Gallardo, we had no idea what was to happen over the next few months. With ‘05 model having a very tall ratio transmission and capable of over 100km/h in 1st gear, the customer proposed to introduce a twin turbo kit sourced from Heffner in United States. While waiting for the hardware, our team started work on a complete interior conversion from what was a very dull beige colour, to a black alcantara and red stitched conversion of seats and other interior components. Custom Lamborghini logos also made the appearance as has a decent splash of carbon including custom steering wheel
The latest generation BMW M3 F80 Competition is not a slouch and anyone attempting to improve on what many would consider a pinnacle of BMW ‘Pure Driving Pleasure’ should consider their options very carefully. I mean, it’s easy to add ‘stuff’ on, but how do you actually improve or better still, make the overall package tastefully individual? – Answer? – RamSpeed Custom Performance & Enhancement package, based on customer’s very specific set of requirements. After analysing proven performers from well know German BMW Tuning houses like AC Schnitzer, our customer wanted to push the envelope a little further. To start, the standard BMW package already contained Carbon Roof, so the request to extend on the theme included aggressive front lip splitter / spoiler, custom rear carbon diffuser and a carbon boot spoiler to match. New Product release by RamSpeed and AC Scnitzer for BMW X5 X6 X4 - AC Schnitzer Diesel Sound Module. The new AC Schnitzer sound module set for diesel variants of BMW X3 and X4 models is now available from RamSpeed. The product consists of a stainless-steel silencer with 2 "Sport" tailpipes in the right and left hand side. Now, for the first time, the diesel sound module is also available with the tailpipes in Sport Black (option). The sound module for the BMW X5 and X6 models consists of a twin silencer specially developed for these models, with the famous AC Schnitzer "Racing" tailpipes again for both the right and left side. The exciting thing about this product is the ability to of the AC Schnitzer sound module, to choose between seven (6 + standard) different exhaust notes. All by the flick of a button! Another exciting project recently completed by RamSpeed for a valuable customer in Sydney. This stunning Audi SQ5 was purchased brand new in 2015. After few short weeks of driving and running the car in, the lady owner decided to turn up the volume in just about every department. After initial consultation, it was clear that the owner wanted a lot more power and presence on the road. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 that produces 420kW of power and 650Nm of torque. The Roadster’s performance data is: 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds, 0-200km/h in 11.3 seconds, top speed of 317km/h, with a combined cycle fuel consumption of 13.3 litres/100km. This incredible Mercedes Benz AMG SLS Class Convertible 2011 was brought into our workshop for an installation of coil over’s as well as an installation of a KW lift kit. During this process, our workshop removed all the old struts and rebuilt with KW adjusters and springs. Also installed was a hydraulic pump which runs lines to all four of the struts. After the installation, the ride heights were set and the hydraulic system was checked. The lift kit heightens the car which prevents scrapping of the bumper and undercar when at an incline.
