This was our first time entry at the 2016 Porsche Club NSW Concours d' Elegance and while the weather was reminiscent of a concourse held somewhere in London, the fact that almost 200 cars rolled in was a pleasant surprise. With the Concourse judging starting at 10am and the winners announced just after 2pm, there was no shortage of disappointed faces with a handful of hopefuls eagerly awaiting final winner announcements. Our 1996 Porsche 993 4S owned by Andrew Ochudzawa was the only 993 4S on display. With duco, interior and mechanicals in perfect order, tough judges noted absence of an original jack bag, a dusty engine fan (on the inside) as well as a slightly worn brake and clutch pedal rubbers among other, very fine details. Another exciting project recently completed by RamSpeed for a valuable customer in Sydney. This stunning Audi SQ5 was purchased brand new in 2015. After few short weeks of driving and running the car in, the lady owner decided to turn up the volume in just about every department. After initial consultation, it was clear that the owner wanted a lot more power and presence on the road. This incredible looking 2006 yellow Lamborghini Gallardo has come into our workshop for some exterior upgrades including Super Trofeo look front bumper with carbon splitter. The client has purchased through RamSpeed carbon front bumper upgrade which included carbon intakes as well as a centre splitter. Thanks to this upgrade, the front of the car has been completely transformed into a look of a newer model car. This upgrade gives the Gallardo the look of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. This new style is sleek and is bound to turn heads once spotted.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 that produces 420kW of power and 650Nm of torque. The Roadster’s performance data is: 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds, 0-200km/h in 11.3 seconds, top speed of 317km/h, with a combined cycle fuel consumption of 13.3 litres/100km. This incredible Mercedes Benz AMG SLS Class Convertible 2011 was brought into our workshop for an installation of coil over’s as well as an installation of a KW lift kit. During this process, our workshop removed all the old struts and rebuilt with KW adjusters and springs. Also installed was a hydraulic pump which runs lines to all four of the struts. After the installation, the ride heights were set and the hydraulic system was checked. The lift kit heightens the car which prevents scrapping of the bumper and undercar when at an incline.
