AC Schnitzer ACZ4 5.0d Fastest Diesel on the Sachsenring

The term diesel and roadster aren’t often used together, but tuner specialists at AC Schnitzer have changed that with their new one-off ACZ4 5.0d concept. The new sports car is based on the BMW Z4 sDrive 23i, and has been upgraded from the bottom up. The AC Schnitzer ACZ4 5.0d comes with the is the 5.0-liter, turbodiesel V-8 engine found in the BMW M50d that offers a good balance of power and efficiency. The newly implemented engine has been boosted up to 430 horsepower and 619 lb-ft. of torque.  The standard manual gearbox has been replaced with an 8-speed automatic with pedal sports shift. A rear axle and limited-slip differential have been taken from the E92 BMW M3 and installed.
