Techart Power Kit for Porsche 991 Carrera is out!. The German leading Porsche tuning company TechArt has just announced a brand new range of power modules and kits targeting specifically the new Series 2 (II), Porsche 991, the 911 Carrera S and Turbo S models. Both models can now easily be upgraded with additional 60 Horses for the Carrera (480 HP (up from 420 hp) and the Turbo S to going up to 640 HP (up from 580 hp stock). While the Carrera S gets additonal 80 Nm of torque, the hylp powered Turbo S goes up a a completely new level with an additional 130 Nm of back breaking torque. The all important 0-100km/h sprint? Well the Turbo sets a new benchmark with 0-100km/h sprint covered in just 2.7 seconds, while the Porsche 991, series 2 Carrera 4S as an example, now offers a very respectable 3.6 second sprint. Mansory recently pitched in a customization program for the Porsche Cayenne 957 which includes solid changes in aerodynamics, interior upgradations, wheels and engine performance. Not that the SUV already had a uber cool design and is one of the best in its class, Mansory upgraded its ‘oomph’ factor to the next level. Here are the exact specs of what they did: Aerodynamics: The new front apron installed looks great paired with large air intakes. Also, the wings are broadened and new side skirts are installed widening the serial auto body by 40mm which looks great. The apron at the rear has an integrated diffuser having room for tailpipes for the exhaust system. Interior: The foot pedals are made up of aluminum and the dashboard and interior are made of carbon fiber stating out loud a sports car feel. Mansory took the Porsche Macan under the knife this time and applied a superb looking Sports outfit to it. The aerodynamics has been seriously bumped up with extensive use of carbon fiber. Aerodynamics: The super-light and ultra-strength carbon fiber body kit gives the Porsche Macan a sporty look and ensures proper fitment. The front spoiler with its amazingly large intake and the beautiful daytime lights just steal the show. Wings applied at the back and the front is with an increased width paired up with side skirts providing a dynamic appeal to it. Performance: Mansory increased the power of the Macan Diesel S to 301 HP/224kW at 3.500 – 4.000 RPM and maximized the torque to 700 Nm at 1.500 – 2.500 RPM. SpeedART have a new power module for the Porsche Macan Diesel which has power figures of 312 Hp and 711 Nm. A dyno of the module can be seen below, which is also avaialabel for the Cayenne and Panamera Porsche models. This upgrade will achieve 310 Hp and 700 Nm. SpeedART also have a power box module for the Porsche 991 Turbo/S which can achieve up to 620 Hp. Other upgrades include a sports exhaust system for the 991 GT3 to be used without side mufflers and include connecting pipes. There is also a new active sound module and power box for the Porsche Panamera Diesel and 970 Diesel for both generations. The Porsche 991 Carrera/S also produces a sporty and sonorous sound thanks to the SpeedART sport exhaust system with a sound switch.
The Porsche in our workshop ready for the upgrade Below you can see images of a Porsche 911 996 supercharger project which we worked on with 470 HP and 345 Kw. We also supply and fitted new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tyres to the vehicle. The catch can was modified to incorporate a drain hose and plug coupling. Race brakes were supplied and fitted to the vehicle and the system bled and filled.
